Office Hours

Our office is generally open from 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Office visits are by appointment only. We encourage you to make appointments for check-ups well in advance, especially if you want a late afternoon appointment. For sick visits, we will guarantee a same-day appointment for all patients that call in the morning. For Saturday sick visits, please call the office between 10-11 am on Saturday. Weekend sick visits cannot be scheduled in advance. Please note that we do not offer weekend office hours during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

Reaching Your Doctor

Portal Messages:  The easiest way to reach us is through the patient portal. You can send an email to your doctor, request an appointment, or upload a form using this secure online app. Portal messages are checked several times per day on weekdays, and once a day on weekends and holidays.

Phone Calls: For urgent matters, please call us at 212-427-0540. We have a doctor on call 24/7 for emergencies. Leave a message letting us know that it’s urgent, and we’ll get right back to you.

Immunizations

We generally administer vaccinations according to the CDC’s vaccine schedule , but we are willing to discuss alternative schedules with families that are reluctant to give multiple vaccines at once. We also recommend that all patients over 6 months receive Covid  and seasonal Influenza vaccines.

Hospital Affiliations

All of our doctors have attending staff privileges at Mount Sinai Hospital and are faculty members of the Department of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. We are actively involved in teaching medical students and residents, and have four wonderful pediatric residents who see patients with us once a week. We have admitting privileges at Mount Sinai’s newborn nursery, so let us know if you are planning to deliver there so we can be sure to stop by and meet your baby after he or she is born. If your child is admitted to the hospital, we will closely coordinate your child’s care with the pediatric hospitalists and emergency room physicians.
